3000 Km/2 Weeks - Step 1: Noosa National Park

After successfully completing the coursework of our first Semester at QUT, we bought a small red car to travel across Australia's beautiful east-coast up to Early Beach. The little red riding hood (as our 1.5 Liter S-Model Ford Festiva is called) has all it takes to do a road-trip in Australia. A Stereo-system and a working Air-conditioning.

You may think, our "ride" looks a little bit like the more advanced, better maintained version of Marian's Chica or as Insider's used to call it before it was shipped to Africa: The Limbo-Mobil. But to be honest, it doesn't have the yoghurt-stirring-kind-a-gearbox or the 'dead-rabbit-or-can-or-both-in-the-engine-sound' in common. But the coolness-factor is almost the same. Except for the Always-open-roof-top maybe. This factor would have been much appreciated during our trip ;)

God bless these amazing Countries :)

The goodbye-ceremony from our flatmates Adam and Torey who went back home to the US.

Reaching Noosa after one and a half hours of driving, we took a hike on the coastal track of the National Park past Hell's Gate (where we saw wild sea turtles) towards the beautiful beach of Alexandria Bay.

It was a long and exhausting way through the hills, but the views and animals made it as interesting and tempting as an awesome beach on the other side of the rocks:

A mean big-ass lizard chillaxing in a sunny patch of the trail:

We saw the beach already from Hell's Gate but the walk was longer than expected.

The journey was definitely worth it. The beach was simply amazing.. And the BBQ we had after hiking back to the car was a perfect reward for this beautiful first day of the journey.
