Glass House Mountains National Park and Noosa

The Glass House Mountains area was a special meeting place where many Aboriginal people gathered for ceremonies and trading. This place is considered spiritually significant with many ceremonial sites still present and protected today. We went to see this magical place with Cedric, Tom and Tobi.

And here is our awesome team:

The volcanic peaks of the Glass House Mountains rise dramatically from the surrounding Sunshine Coast landscape. This area is home to koalas, goannas, echidnas and grey kangaroos. We even saw one wild kangaroo with the baby, it was staring at us from the bushes ;-)

After our wonderful trip to Glass House Mountains National Park, we have decided to drive to Noosa. Noosa lives up to its name with stunning scenery, an excellent climate, fun activities, high standard shops and golden beaches. It was a good idea to have a nice lunch and chill a bit in this wonderful place...

We finished our day trip with a short glance at rich people houses form Noosa... it was depressing and motivating at the same time I guess. It remanded us that the weekend is over and it is time to go back to University on Monday :-)

That's it for today :-) next trip ... whale watching in Hervey Bay
